Tuning in for the Fire Horse Year

We’re stepping into the fire horse energy for 2026. If you follow Chinese astrology, you’ll know just how much this brings a shift in action and momentum. Last year was Wood Snake—about shedding and letting go. Now, with the Fire Horse, it’s all about real action toward big goals. That being said, it’s not a time to let the energy sweep you away. You get to be the rock in the river—stable, focused, and intentional. Let all that energy channel through you, not bowl you over. I love to remind myself of this when the year feels like it’s going full speed ahead.

If you’re a regular, you’ll know Kerry brings the magic. She’s not just a business strategist—she’s an energetics mentor with a background in Reiki and kinesiology. What makes her readings stand out is that she’s tuning into this specific audience. She weaves in intuitive hits and energetic support for this exact group, so what lands today is meant for you as a reader.

Kerry guides us through the process, sometimes with her asking you to place a hand on your heart, your belly, or even close your eyes—if it’s safe, of course. The point is to help you connect in. And while she shares what she receives, you’ll probably get your own insights too.

Let Yourself Land Here

So, Kerry kicks us off by inviting us to settle in. It doesn’t matter if you’re on a walk, cleaning, or sitting still—just take a deep breath and allow yourself to land in this moment.

She asks, “What do you most desire in 2026?” Let the answer bubble up, no need to overthink it. This is where we set our energetic intention for the reading and for the year.

The Message for 2026: Take Your Time

Here’s what Kerry picks up first: 2026 might feel fast-paced. Loads of changes, big energies—especially in business and the world. But instead of getting swept up, the most supportive thing you can do is to tune out some of the noise.

This really resonated with me too—the idea that sometimes it’s not just all the outer noise, but the “inner noise”—all those thoughts, un-captured ideas, lingering to-dos. We can be drowning in it.

You know that feeling when five or ten minutes here and there bleed into your day? That’s often energy spent absorbing extra noise, especially from social media or following other people’s ideas.

Kerry’s advice? Consider even tighter boundaries for your time and attention—maybe it’s unfollowing, muting, or just deciding what time frame works for you when you use those apps for business. Those moments lost to the scroll or all that inner mental clutter add up. They weigh down your energy, make your tasks feel heavier than they are, and stoke that “not doing enough” story.

Write It Down, Set Yourself Free

This is where planning becomes your best friend. Write things down instead of letting them float around your brain. “Eat the frog” is the classic advice here (hat tip to Brian Tracy!), but really, it’s just about doing the important things instead of the easy-to-access things like more scrolling or more podcasts.

And if you prefer starting with a small, joyful task to get into a flow, that counts too! The big picture is to do the things that matter and not get lost in busyness.

It’s easy to feel productive when you’re consuming content, but be discerning. Where are you actually allocating your energy? Catch yourself when you’re drifting and redirect to what’s most important for you right now.

Stay in Your Own Lane

The next energetic hit for 2026: stay in your lane. Kerry brings attention to honing your skillset and really owning what you do. Double down.
It’s so easy to get pulled into what others are sharing, doing, or suggesting, especially if you follow people in the same niche or lots of “inspiration” accounts. Ask yourself: which ones actually serve you, and which ones just cause more distraction or even bleed over into your creative space?

The challenge is to keep your ideas, your inspiration, and your thought leadership clear and connected—and that takes being proactive with your boundaries. You might want to mute or unfollow accounts that overlap too closely with your offerings. More than ever, focus on time alone with your own thoughts.

Blank Space Is the Secret Power

I’ve learned over the years in business just how powerful “thinking time” is—even if you have to retrain yourself to take it. It used to feel awkward or “lazy” to stare out the window, but honestly, that space is strategic gold. If you catch yourself feeling guilty about downtime, interrupt that pattern and remind yourself: this is the stuff that moves you forward.

My journaling practice is a huge part of this. But even just sitting, staring out the window, or taking five minutes at your desk with no input, can make all the difference.

Don’t spread yourself thin chasing what’s “hot” right now, either. Whether it’s adding more low-ticket offers or jumping on new event trends, always come back to: What is strategically aligned? How does it fit with my overall business, my clients’ experience, and the bigger picture?

Stay Spacious, Stay True

The magic ingredient: spaciousness. You need it to access your own original ideas and tune your thought leadership. If you’re constantly filling your time with everyone else’s opinions (or trying to “keep up” because of FOMO or the next new thing), it’s impossible for your unique voice to come forward.

Everything from journaling, unplugged walks, or even staring into space—however you find your own “blank” time—becomes a power tool for your business. That’s how you stay in your lane.

Nourish Who’s Already Here

This is becoming more important every year—focus on the audience you already have. Real relationships are built through nurturing and connection, not by chasing the biggest number.

We’re moving back towards referral-based growth, even for free content. When someone shares your podcast or posts with a friend, it’s far more powerful than algorithmic reach. And what gets shared? Original, specific, authentic content that solves real problems for your real people.

Generic content doesn’t get sent around. When your message is narrow and personal, it connects—and that’s when people think of someone specific to share it with.

Your Differences Are Your Superpower

I love how Kerry returns to the idea that your differences, and even the quirks that may have felt like challenges, are your superpower. You don’t necessarily have to turn the spotlight on them if that doesn’t feel comfortable. Just bring that wholeness of who you are into your work. Let your audience find resonance with the real you—the person behind the offering. People are looking for “green flags”: “Can I be safe here? Can I trust this person?” Be the safe harbour.

Trust the Process—Keep It Simple

What really lands for 2026 is this: don’t reinvent the wheel. You probably already have the simple strategies that work. Stick with them and refine them rather than jumping ship for flashy new tactics. The basics—podcasting, sharing on socials, consistent newsletters—these build your ecosystem.

You might find yourself wanting to “fancy it up” or feeling like it’s not enough. Maybe you wish for a quantum leap or worry that you’re not “big enough” yet. Release all the noise around that. Respect and serve your current audience, however big or small, and let the results compound.

You don’t need to pressure yourself to work all the hours or launch a new thing every week. Just show up, serve, and trust the process you’ve chosen.

Invisible Momentum Is Real

I’ve seen this in my own business. For example, I recently made a sale after someone was referred to my podcast by a friend. They binged some episodes, reached out, and joined my program. I wouldn’t have had that opportunity if the content wasn’t there, consistently, week after week.

Kerry shared a similar story—a new client reached out after seeing a clip of her speaking in a mastermind. The trust was built not from engagement stats, but from having a rich ecosystem: website, socials, visibility, and consistent presence.

That’s why you don’t want to get caught up in the numbers. It’s about being available, being present, and letting the magic land when people are ready.

Your Focus for 2026

So… to integrate everything we’ve explored, the three messages for your 2026 are clear:

  • Take your time.
  • Stay in your own lane.
  • Trust the process.

As the year unfolds, these will only become more meaningful. Come back to this episode whenever you need to recalibrate—maybe even listen instead of read—you’ll find fresh insights with each listen as you build your spacious, focused, and heart-centred business.
